The holder will be responsible for:
· Duty allocation and supervision
· Marketing of livestock
· Selection and purchase of breeding stocks
· Feed formulation and determining rations
· Co-ordinating vaccination, drenching, docking, etc
· Assist in designing range improvement programmes
· Maintain records of breeding, births, deaths, vaccination calendar, sales etc.
Ideal candidates shall possess:
· At least a Diploma in range or livestock management
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Sound knowledge of livestock diseases
· Supervisory and management skills
2 years experience in livestock supervision
