Purpose of the Position:
To lead and facilitate the delivery of Maternal Newborn and Child and Health Advocacy Project in Migori and Rachuonyo Districts as per project goal, outcomes and outputs.

Purpose of the Position:
To lead and facilitate the delivery of Maternal Newborn and Child and Health Advocacy Project in Migori and Rachuonyo Districts as per project goal, outcomes and outputs.
processes and interventions that will contribute to decreased disease burden, improved nutritional status and increased skilled birth attendant utilization rates.
She or He must be able to communicate World Vision’s Christian ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that serves as an example to others.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
A minimum of first degree in any of the Social Sciences or equivalent Strong project management experience
Ability to lead in complex and challenging environments
Experience in coalition building and ability to rally coalitions and networks to take positions on specific policy issues
Creativity and innovative thinking
Experience in capacity building, community empowerment, stakeholder engagement and production of IEC materials with emphasis in health advocacy
Excellent time-management and prioritization
Knowledgeable in relevant health policies and legal instruments at the national and local levels
Strategic thinking and ability to lead on strategic planning with others
Experience of working in a multi and cross-cultural environment
Comprehensive experience in campaigning and/or communications Working knowledge of English and Swahili languages.
