Job Title: Information Technology Personnel

Job Summary
The
IT Personnel is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the
organization’s computer systems, networks, software, hardware, and other
technology resources.
The
role ensures that IT systems operate efficiently, securely, and reliably to
support the organization’s business and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
Install,
configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, servers, network
equipment, and other IT devices.
Provide
technical support to employees and resolve hardware, software, network, and
connectivity issues.
Monitor
and maintain the company’s computer networks, internet connectivity, and
communication systems.
Manage
user accounts, access permissions, passwords, and other IT security
requirements.
Install,
update, and maintain operating systems, applications, antivirus software, and
other authorized software.
Perform
regular data backups and assist with data recovery when required.
Monitor
IT systems for security threats, unauthorized access, malware, and other
vulnerabilities.
Maintain
accurate records of IT assets, equipment, software licenses, and maintenance
activities.
Support
the implementation and maintenance of information security policies and
procedures.
Assist
with the procurement, installation, configuration, and replacement of IT
equipment.
Train
employees on the proper and safe use of computers, software, internet services,
and other IT resources.
Liaise
with external IT service providers, internet service providers, software
vendors, and equipment suppliers when necessary.
Support
company ERP, accounting, production, inventory, HR, and other business
applications where applicable.
Ensure
IT systems and services are available to support daily business and production
operations.
Identify
opportunities to improve IT processes, system performance, efficiency, and
reliability.
Prepare
IT reports and provide updates on system performance, incidents, equipment, and
outstanding issues.
Ensure
compliance with company IT policies, procedures, and applicable data protection
requirements.
Perform
any other IT-related duties assigned by management.
Strong
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good
knowledge of computer networking and system administration.
Knowledge
of cybersecurity and data protection principles.
Ability
to install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software.
Good
communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong
organizational and time-management skills.
Ability
to work independently and as part of a team.
Good
attention to detail.
Ability
to work under pressure and respond promptly to IT incidents.
Commitment
to confidentiality and responsible handling of company information.
Qualifications
Bachelor's
degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Information Technology, Computer
Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Relevant
professional IT certifications will be an advantage.
Practical
knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and IT support.
Good
knowledge of latest functional Applications.
