Job Summary
- We are looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media
Manager to manage and grow our online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (photos, videos,
reels, stories, and carousels) across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and
other relevant platforms.
- Develop and execute weekly / monthly content calendars aligned with
our brand, menu highlights, events (e.g. Karaoke Night), and promotions.
- Capture or coordinate high-quality photos and short videos of food,
drinks, ambience, and events.
- Manage community engagement — reply to comments, DMs, and reviews
promptly and professionally.
- Run and optimize paid social campaigns (boosts, ads) to increase
reach, foot traffic, and reservations.
- Monitor trends, competitor activity, and audience insights;
recommend content and campaign improvements.
- Track and report key metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth,
website clicks, bookings) weekly / monthly.
- Collaborate with management on brand messaging, seasonal campaigns,
and special events.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice that reflects the energy, quality,
and vibe of Cedar Grillz & Lounge.
Qualifications &
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media for a restaurant, lounge,
hospitality brand, or similar lifestyle business (portfolio required).
- Strong content creation skills — photography, short-form video
editing (CapCut, InShot, or similar), and graphic design (Canva or Adobe).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative
flair.
- Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook algorithms and
best practices.
- Experience running and analyzing paid social ads is a strong
advantage.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple
tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to cover evenings and weekends when needed (events, peak
periods).
- Based in or able to regularly visit Gwarinpa / Abuja.
- Passion for food, nightlife, and creating experiences people want to
share.
