Job Title: Class Teacher

Role Description
- The Class Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in
Lagos.
- The Class Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned
with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
- Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching and
facilitating classroom activities, assessing learners’ progress, and
maintaining accurate records of student performance.
- The role also involves creating a safe and inclusive classroom
environment, supporting learners’ social and emotional development, and
communicating regularly with parents and guardians about learners’
progress.
- The Class Teacher will collaborate with other staff members to
organize school activities, participate in training sessions, and
contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Lesson Planning and Teaching skills to design and deliver
effective classroom instruction.
- Background in Education and Training, with the ability to apply
relevant teaching methods and curricula.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with learners,
families, and colleagues.
- Formal qualification in Education or a related field (e.g., B.Ed.,
PGDE, or equivalent).
- Proven classroom management abilities and experience working with
Nursery or Primary school learners.
- Ability to support holistic child development, including academic,
social, and emotional growth.
- Proficiency in basic ICT tools for teaching, record-keeping, and
communication.
- Commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory
teaching practices.
