Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Officer to manage and oversee procurement processes, with a strong focus on machines, automobile spare parts, and general procurement.
The successful candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high standards of quality and supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
Develop, lead, and execute procurement strategies for machines, automobile spare parts, and general goods.
Source, negotiate, and establish relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
Monitor and forecast upcoming demand for goods and services.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations in all procurement transactions.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Oversee inventory control and ensure timely availability of required items.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with business needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
6 – 7 years cognate experience in procurement, with proven expertise in machines and automobile spare parts.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Good knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain management.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is an added advantage.
