Job Title: Sales Manager - Catering & Events

Locations: Lekki and Mainland - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Sales Manager for Catering and Events is responsible for generating new business and managing client relationships to grow the company’s catering and event services.

  • This role focuses on lead generation, sales strategy, and coordination with the operations and culinary teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.

  • The ideal candidate is dynamic, target-driven, and experienced in event or hospitality sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase catering and event bookings.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities (corporate, private events, weddings, etc.).

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and detailed event plans.

  • Coordinate with the operations, kitchen, and logistics teams to ensure flawless execution.

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Represent the company at networking events, expos, and trade shows.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.

  • Maintain a CRM system for tracking leads, follow-ups, and bookings.

  • Provide timely and accurate sales reports to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of proven sales experience in catering, hospitality, or event management.

  • Strong network within corporate and private event sectors is an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).

  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
