 L&Z Integrated Farms Nigeria Limited incorporated in Nigeria on November 11, 2008, is located in Kano State, as an integrated dairy producer and processor that produce variant of Yoghurts, Fresh milk, Fura Da Nono, Greek Yoghurts, Satchet Yoghurt and Ice cream. L&Z has established a strong brand in the Nigerian dairy sector; standing out as an indigenous player with good quality dairy products and significant local presence across all six (6) geopolitical zones in Nigeria.


The Farm owns a large herd of cows (a cross breed of Frisian and local cows - Sokoto Gudali), which produces an average yield of 7- 8 litres per cow/day in contrast to 0.69 litres per cow/day from the indigenous breed. Similarly, the Company is an indigenous market leader in the production and processing of drinking yoghurt and sources 90% of its raw milk from local pastoralists across the milk collection centres strategically located in Kano State. Job Title: Sales Executives - North East

Location: Yola - Adamawa & Jos - Plateau

Job Summary

  • The Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales, promoting and expanding product distribution, and building customer relationships within assigned territory.

  • The role ensures effective product visibility, timely collections and consistent achievement of sales targets, in alignment with the company’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation:

  • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales volume/value targets within assigned territory

  • Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

  • Follow up on leads, close sales, and process customer orders efficiently.

  • Continually prospect for new customers to drive sales growth and expansion.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain regular contact with customers, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.

  • Provide excellent after-sales service and support.

  • Develop and maintain a loyal customer base in assigned territory.

  • Maintaining effective & consistent business communication with Customers

  • Timely dissemination of the monthly sales target to customers

Territory & Route Management:

  • Plan and execute daily sales routes to ensure maximum market coverage.

  • Identify new markets, customer segments, and distribution opportunities.

  • Competitors' activities tracking and reporting

  • Maintaining standard weekly sales call frequency rates

  • Keeping strictly to the assigned Sales territory route coverage

Trade Marketing & Merchandising:

  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and accessibility in all assigned outlets.

  • Participate in promotional activities, trade shows, or marketing campaigns when required

  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations as needed.

  • Proactively propose Sales promotion activities to drive sales volume or combat competition in your assigned sales territory

Collections:

  • Ensure prompt collection of payments.

  • Ensure payments are made directly to the company’s account

  • Ensure monthly collection targets are met

  • Monitor customer accounts to avoid overdue debts.

  • Flag any debt you foresaw is likely to go bad to your line Manager

Reporting & Feedback:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using reporting templates.

  • Submit daily/weekly sales and market intelligence reports to the Area Sales Manager.

  • Monitor market trends and provide insights on competitor activities like products, pricing, and promotional trends.

  • Any other responsibility assigned by the area sales manager

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.

  • Customer recruitment, retention, and growth in the active customer base.

  • Number of new accounts opened.

  • Product availability, visibility, and merchandising compliance.

  • Timely payment collection

Working Conditions:

  • Field-based with frequent travel within assigned territory.

  • Requires the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Requirements
Education

  • B.Sc Degree / HND in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  • Certification (indicate N/A if not required)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in FMCG field sales.

  • Experience in dairy, beverage, or similar fast-moving consumer goods is an advantage.

  • Must be resident in Jos or Adamawa or willing to relocate to the assigned location.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Good understanding of local markets and distribution channels.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Proficiency in basic MS Office applications and reporting tools.
