Job Title: Infrastructure Splicer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Resolving, repairing, and installing fiber optics systems, ensuring that they work properly.
Maintaining and ensuring full compliance with all direct broadband and mobile processes and procedures relating to fiber optic engineering and network architecture.
Examining and replacing faulty and/or old fiber optic cables.
Organizing scheduled maintenance routines and taking care of fiber splicing and rectify fiber optic problem areas.
Developing sensor indicators and conduct timely inspections, so that a faulty fiber optic system does not destabilize its performance.
Executing premises cabling and taking care of the underground and underwater cabling requirements.
Keeping track of the signal strength of different devices including television, telephone, and high-speed internet.
Working closely with customer service providers, vendors, and partners to resolve customer complaints and deliver high quality and reliable network performance.
Formulating and maintaining system records and system designs.
Requirements
B.Sc or HND in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
2 - 3 years relevant work experience.
Proven experience working as a fiber optic technician or related roles.
Strong active-listening and verbal-communication skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
In-depth knowledge of industry and technological trends
Salary
N176,000 monthly.
