Job Overview
The Business Developer is responsible for driving regional retail expansion by identifying key customer intentions, evaluating high-potential business circles, collecting relevant site data, and coordinating the construction and operational setup of Home Stores.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, negotiation capabilities, and hands-on execution experience in retail development.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Customer Intention Tracking:
Conduct field research to understand customer purchasing behavior and brand perception.
Analyze sales trends, competitor activities, and foot traffic to determine consumer interest in new store locations.
Maintain records of potential customer demand in targeted areas.
Regional Business Circle Combing:
Identify and evaluate key business circles within assigned regions for possible retail development.
Conduct detailed mapping and segmentation of business zones for strategic expansion.
Establish and maintain local business relationships to support market entry.
Site Selection & Information Gathering:
Collect, verify, and document relevant information about potential store locations within the targeted business circles.
Assess sites based on visibility, footfall, competitor presence, and cost implications.
Prepare and submit detailed site reports for approval.
Regional Home Store Construction Follow-up:
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of store construction materials and equipment.
Track construction progress and resolve issues related to delays or quality concerns
Manage procurement and setup of initial stock (first order) for store opening.
Ensure proper handover and readiness of stores for launch.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field.
2–4 years experience in retail expansion, business development, or related roles.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Familiarity with retail logistics, store construction, or trade marketing is an advantage.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and digital reporting tools.
