Position: Inventory Controller

Our client,
a leading global travel retailer operating worldwide seeks to recruit an
Inventory Controller, the individual should be able to oversee the effective
management of inventory in various operational activities and ensure
independent investigations are carried out on any irregularities among other
key responsibilities.
- To
be the local point of all communication with the suppliers on day to day
matters.
- Preparing
gate passes for the days (local) deliveries. Liaising with supplier for
prompt delivery and coordinating with all the stores on foreign imports.
- To
check and ensure timely costing of goods are with proper bar codes, retail
prices in advance of the receipt of goods in stores.
- Liaise
with suppliers for new products, return and replacement of damaged goods.
- Ensure
movement of goods on consignment and ensure their return or replacement
found not moving within 6 months. Follow up on credit notes from in such
event.
- Enter,
update and file stock adjustment made in the system through STV, PRF and
MLR.
- Scheduling,
Processing.
- Inventory
variance tracing and verification.
- Stock
entry (new delivery).
- Preparing
PRF (delivery discrepancy report).
- Preparing
MLR (Losses).
- Preparing
STV (damaged items for replacement)
- Experience
in inventory checking with PDT scanner.
- Reporting
and filling.
- Ensure
compliance of inbound, outbound and stock take activities.
- Ensure
compliance with customer requirements (SLA)
- Ensure
data for inventory KPI is completed.
- Ensure
stock take results are analysed.
- Identify
gaps in inventory management procedures.
- Perform
spot checks on WMS to ensure it is updated on time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
Degree in Procurement and Supplies
- 3
to 4 years’ experience in Inventory Management
- Excel
and Navision skills
