Our client,
a well-established company that Supplies Consumer Goods is seeking to recruit a Financial Accountant for their Nairobi
Office.
The
successful candidate MUST have 5 years experience retail / FMCG accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately
prepare, review and submit monthly financial reports to management.
- Monitor
compliance with accounting principles and company procedures.
- Prepare
and analyse, annual and monthly budget performance.
- Oversees
the fiscal year budgeting process.
- Monitors
implementation of budgets and provides advice and guidance to management.
- Liaises
with external auditors and prepares schedules for audit purposes.
- Develops,
maintains and monitors internal controls.
- Review
monthly payroll.
- Responsible
for all Kenya local tax obligations.
- Monthly
inventory reconciliation.
- Posting
inter-company transaction.
Qualifications
- Relevant
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or a related field.
- Must
be a CPA (K) or ACCA.
- Must
be a member of ICPAK.
- Must
have progressive wholesale and retail accounting experience.
- A
clear understanding of statutory requirements with regard to finance.
- Excellent,
planning, analytical and negotiation skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh.
150,000 - 180,000/= (Approx. 1,500 - 1,800 USD) depending on experience
