Our client is a leading African E - commerce and
Financial Services Provider is seeking to fill the position of a Chief
Financial Officer.
The successful candidate MUST have prior relevant
international experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with regulators in all jurisdictions of
operations - domestic and cross border.
- Oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks.
- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes,
tools and control systems to stream line internal process.
- Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking
relationships.
- Bring financial governance to the business.
- Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting
activities.
- Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and
operational information to the CEO and make actionable recommendations on
both strategy and operations.
- Develop and monitor policies and procedures within generally
accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure
sufficient cash flow, reduced operating costs, and increased revenues.
- Produce timely and accurate management reports.
- Bring financial discipline to the business.
- Develop and manage accounting staff.
- Manage preparation and support of all external audits.
- Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; Monthly
profit and loss forecast by division (vs. budget)
- Develop and execute analysis of various business initiatives such
as opening new operations, asset acquisition, new products and services
development.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant business partners
such as mobile service providers and financial institutions globally.
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as
needed.
- Develop financial business plans and forecasts.
- Represent the company to financial partners, including financial
institutions, investors and any other relevant party.
Qualifications
- Must have an MBA in a relevant field.
- Must be CPA (K).
- Minimum 10 years+ experience in management capacity.
- Must be treasury geared and have working knowledge in FX pricing
and operations.
- Must be extremely commercial.
- MUST have International / Overseas exposure in multiple countries.
- Must be 40 years and above to apply for this position.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh.680,000
- 850,000/= (Approx. 8,000 - 10,000 USD)depending on experience
