Health Club Attendant / Masseuse
Job No. 06/2014

Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose: Promote and sell massage as a service offered in the Health Club and take massage sessions as booked so as to realize profits & exceed plan. Keep the ladies changing rooms, sauna, steam and other areas clean.

Essential Functions:

Specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Take massage session as per bookings
  • Attend organised meetings & training as required and advised
  • Maintain high level of hygiene standards in the massage rooms and other areas of the Health Club at all times
  • Promote and sell the different kinds of massage available

Qualification Standards:
  • High school graduate.
  • Certificate in massage therapy or equivalent and capable of doing at least four types of massage.
  • Basic first Aid certificate.
  • Computer literate.
  • 3 years experience in massage therapy practice or in resort spa as a therapist preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Capable of giving at least four types of massage and knowledge on hot stone & aromatherapy is a MUST
  • Good interpersonal skills, friendly & approachable
  • Team player and adaptable to a multicultural and multiracial working environment
  • Be able to up sell different treatments
