Ticketing Operator
Salary: KShs 25,000 - 30,000
Our client is
tours and travel operator.
Job requirements
Liaise with
airlines for the best prices as well as other transport companies to ensure
travel arrangement including for transport, accommodation and food as made
according to the clients’ requirement
Book
transportation and hotel reservations, using computer terminal or telephone
Ensure payments
are made on time for books of flight and travel arrangements as well as the
final payment
Handle
cancellation, re-issuance of tickets, refunds and rescheduling of travel for
the clients
Check the
availability of flights and fare rules to ensure that the clients are advised
accordingly
Book travel
using of e-ticketing systems
Prepare of tour
quotations for clients/organization
Create and
advise the clients on their itinerary
Required Qualifications
- Higher Diploma in Tourism Studies, Business Administration or related field
- More than 3 years in the international ticketing business
- Must have good knowledge of intentional travel
- Must be able to work well with e-ticketing systems
- Must have experience and knowledge of the national parks like Maasai Mara and Amboseli
- Must have a good understanding of sites, hotels, local customs, points of interest and foreign country regulations
- Good interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Good organization and planning skills
- Good IT skills
- Finally they should have a good command in English
