Our client, a medium
size Sacco based in Mombasa is seeking to recruit a qualified,
dynamic,self-motivated and result oriented individual to fill the position of a
Sacco Manager.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the holder of the position will have the
following duties and responsibilities;- Overall
oversight of the operations of the Sacco
- Implementing
policies on behalf of the Board.
- Ensuring
efficient allocation and management of Human Resources and other resources
- Developing
investment Strategies and advising the Board on the same.
- Product
Development and evaluation to ensure that the society achieves maximum
return.
- Ensuring
that proper Internal Controls are in place.
- Ensuring proper
Books of Accounts are kept and maintained.
- Implement the
Sacco’s Strategic Plan
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration or Finance
- Diploma in
co-operative management
- CPA (K)
- A good knowledge
of computer packages (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint) and relevant
accounting packages. Knowledge on operating Navision software will be an
added advantage.
- Experience in a
similar position for at least three (3) years
- Be of high
integrity and with no criminal record
- Excellent
command in English and Swahili
- Able to work
independently
- Good
interpersonal skill
- Demonstrated
competence in financial management, with strong leadership and a team
worker.
