Role: The successful
candidate will be responsible for recommending, implementing, and monitoring
technology related security initiatives to secure the Bank’s Information
Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommending
policies to secure and protect the infrastructure, investigating and
mitigating any breaches.
- Developing,
implementing and enforcing the necessary security procedures, standards
and measures.
- Analyzing
potential security risks on all ICT systems which will involve continuous
event analysis, correlation and reporting.
- Evaluating
access and roles of various stakeholders with respect to network and
systems security.
- Administering
assigned security technologies and functions that include; firewalls,
intrusion detection systems, authentication devices, content filtering
systems, application interface security, incident response, and other security
activities.
- Researching,
evaluating, designing and implementing new/improved security software
and/or devices that meet risk management objectives.
- Providing second
level technical expertise in the identification and resolution of security
related issues/events.
Position
requirements:
- Bachelor’s
Degree in a computer related field.
- Masters degree
in computer related field is highly desired.
- Must have the
following certifications: MCSE, CCNA, CCSP or CISSP
- Minimum 5 years
experience in the development, deployment and administration of network,
operating systems, databases and computer systems in a multiplatform
operating environment.
- Experience in
risk assessments and forensic analysis.
Other
requirements:
- Advanced
knowledge of network security architecture and design, device
configuration and operation, virtual private networking, firewall and IPS,
authentication and encryption, risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge in
implementing data protection and integrity, Windows and Unix/Linux OS configuration,
authentication, and security protocols.
- In-depth
understanding of customer facing channels such as Online Banking, Mobile
Banking and ATMs
- Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills.
