Fleet Manager

This position
will contribute to the Supply Chain Strategy by developing a progressive and
compliant Fleet Management strategy to ensure service delivery while
implementing overall Supply Chain Strategy in line with business objectives.
Job Profile
Essential KRAs
the role holder needs to deliver?
- Availability of trucks on time for local FG and RM/PM deliveries
- Improve reliability of trucks and other vehicles
- Track spend on fuel & maintenance of trucks and other vehicles and identify improvement opportunities
- Set-up a process for timely & effective vehicle maintenance
- Drive cost savings in collaboration with third party transporters
- Track and improve third party transporter reliability
- Monitoring and Reporting

- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Also the incumbent should be highly
motivated to work in a challenging environment(should be easily adaptable to
the business environment

cut across function functions(Marketing, Sales and Stores)
3) Leading Business
- Very high on self-motivation; given that hair business is prone to frequent
market shifts, the incumbent should be highly flexible and adaptable in his

qualifications, Experience
- Bachelors in Engineering /other discipline, Masters studies shall be added advantage
- Must have prior experience in Logistics/Transportation in Kenya
- 6-8 Years of experience in the relevant field
