To celebrate
Kenya’s Jubilee year - 50 years since independence! - we’re inviting
schoolchildren across the country to create their own “Google doodle” by taking
part in the Doodle 4 Google “My Kenya” competition.
for 24 hours in
September 2013.
They will also
receive a Ksh. 800,000 school fee scholarship, a Ksh. 800,000 technology grant
for their school, and tablet devices for their teachers.
Finalists will
receive prizes including mobile and tablet devices, certificates, and a trip to
the awards ceremony.
