Human Resource and Administration Manager

A well-established HR Consultancy firm is looking for a Human Resource & Administration Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Heading the Department of HR & Administration with overall responsibility of developing and managing the human resource of the organization
  • Managing general HR practices such as recruitment, staffing, performance management system, staff orientation, development and training, compensation and benefits administration;
  • Managing employee relations, conflict resolution, welfare employee services and counseling;
  • Ensuring proper maintenance of all personnel and HR related documents
  • Managing labour law and other regulatory policy compliances;
  • Managing and coordinating organizational grievance system and disciplinary proceedings for outsourced staff
  • Managing general administration matters.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resources Management/Higher Diploma in HRM from a reputed institute.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Human Resources and Organizational Development 2 of which should be in heading the HR & Administration function.

  • Dynamic and a self-motivated candidate;

  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills;
  • Impeccable financial integrity;
  • Good command over oral and written communication skills both in English and Kiswahili;
  • Excellent administrative, interpersonal and organization skills. Ability to consistently produce high quality work with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Financial management knowledge – at least fundamental level i.e. Very good with numbers and figures.
  • Good interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team, influence others to accomplish collective goals
  • Ability to work and deliver with set deadlines
  • Well-developed Information Communication and Technology (ICT) skills with hands on experience with computerized accountings applications and Microsoft office software(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook)
  • Highly analytical and organized, with high degree of initiative
