Chief Finance Officer
MYSA is a registered
non-profit organization dedicated to “Giving Youth a Sporting Chance” to help
themselves and their community.
But MYSA’s overall goal is to create new heroes, role models and leaders for improving our community and our country.
With increasing demand for expanded MYSA programmes locally and internationally and the related institutional and financial challenges, MYSA is looking for an experienced CFO to manage, develop and mentor our young finance team on providing better operational and strategic information and advice for our project managers, trustees and partners.
This new CFO position is for a period of up to two years during which the successful candidate will develop, implement and transfer new financial analysis methods and reporting skills to our young finance team.
Qualifications and Experience
An experienced CFO with a track record for developing, managing and mentoring finance teams to achieve high and best practice standards of financial analysis and reporting with:
- Demonstrated
strategic and technical leadership and mentoring skills.
- Ability to
communicate effectively and drive change and innovation.
- Experience in
monitoring and managing externally financed projects.
- Proficiency in
QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Management,
etc).
- CPAKJACCA
qualifications, university degree in accounting preferable.
