Position Purpose and Objectives
The position of
credit collections manager is responsible for overseeing the collection
efforts.
The manager will also
work closely with external collection agencies.

- Identify
accounts requiring collection agency or legal action & coordinate
- Coordinating
collections with third party contractors
- Placing direct
phone calls and emails to customers
- Overseeing
collections at branch level
- Analyse
delinquent accounts and prepare reports on highest risk accounts and
recommendations for resolution.
- Come up with
policies aimed at smoothening the collections process
- Create a credit
risk management environment of an acceptable quality in terms of
established credit guidelines
- Assist in
developing sound,acceptable credit policies.
Knowledge
Skills & Abilities
He/she has to hold a
degree relevant to the job
The position requires
the incumbent to have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
The role holder
should have good analytical skills
Incumbent must be
multitask oriented, organised & able to meet deadlines
