Technical Sales Executives
Salary: 60K -100K Plus Commission

Kenya, like the rest of the African region, is experience a tremendous level of economic growth.
As investment continues
across sectors, including construction, the demand for our resins is also
rapidly expanding.
In order to be able to
service this demand, we are looking for an ambitious and talented Sales Executive, to support our Sales Manager, to
aggressively grow our sales in line with this growth.
The role:
The role:
- Report
directly to the Sales Manager and MD
- Manage
existing sales/accounts and drive sales/account development
- Source and
develop new or currently unidentified sales/accounts and drive growth in
these new accounts (local and export)
- Required to
meet/exceed monthly sales targets
- To prepare
monthly, quarterly, annual sales reports and submit to the Sales Manager
for review and submission to the Board.
- Develop
customers with a view to increase number of existing products per customer
(i.e. product range)
- Required to
strengthen and grow customer relationships, and build local and regional
corporate brand strength
- Prepare
monthly sales budgets for the company and submit by 1st of each month a
draft in a view of achieving the set yearly budget
- Feeding back
to Production & R&D to product development and to win new
business, and collect market data
- Lead on the
development of effective customer relationship management (CRM) systems
and use this to build strong relationships with customers to drive
recurring revenue. Will be required to assist with the implementation of
the new CRM system. Therefore experience with using different CRM systems
is advantageous.
- Manage,
motivate and drive a number of other sales professionals
- Lead on the
development of a clear brand and marketing strategy & drive its
execution and implementation. Experience with marketing and communications
is therefore essential.
- Report
regularly against KPIs
- Follow up
with customers and ensure receipt of payment as per the agreed customer
payment terms and ensure credit control processes followed
- Regular
travel across Kenya and the African region
The requirements:
- Degree in
Sales & Marketing
- Proven track
record at managing existing accounts as well as growing new accounts
- Minimum 5
years sales experience locally in Kenya but also in regional African
markets
- Experience
with B2B product sales
- Proven track
record of meeting financial targets and growing bottom line
- Experience
of selling technical products into a competitive market
- Experience
of selling new products into market
- Past
experience of developing sales, marketing and brand strategy will set you
apart. Marketing and communications experience strong advantage.
- Leadership
experience of managing sales teams
- Excellent
customer relationship management skills and experience
- Experience
using and implementing relevant CRM systems for SMEs will set you apart.
- Excellent
interpersonal skills and people relationship development skills
- Outgoing,
driven, self-motivated, willing to embrace a challenging but exciting

- Raw ambition

the firm
- Language
requirements: Fluency in English, Kiswahili. African regional languages a
bonus
Salary: Salary is in the range of
60K - 100K plus commission.
However, this is a salary
guideline negotiable on experience and qualifications
