Nakuru - Njoro is seeking to recruit a self-driven, hardworking and experienced
person to fill the position ofProject Manager for summer flowers
The position entails the following:
The position entails the following:
- Carrying out
all production processes (crop husbandry, protection & nutrition
practices).
- Implementation
of the Company Integrated Crop Management Systems (ICM).
- Proper
keeping of production, ICM and other requisite records for the unit.
- Liaising
with the Post-Harvest Department on Quality Issues
- Carrying out
of production forecasts as and when required.
- Drawing up
weekly and production reports.
- Drawing up
weekly farm operations plan
- Responsible
for the effective operation and maintenance of the spray and fertigation
systems in the unit.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s
Degree in Horticulture
- At least 2
years’ managerial experience in flower industry
- Computer
literacy
- Experience
in management of summer flowers will be an added advantage
- Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills
