Since 2009, JAF has worked in Africa and with over 20 college
and university campuses, training hundreds in the principles of secular
leadership, and reaching millions through the media. We have worked with
partners including the Secular Students Alliance, IHEU, IARF, Skepchics, the
White House, Center for Inquiry and the Office of Her Majesty Queen Rania of
Jordan.

Jahwar Amber Foundation coordinates doctors looking to spend sometime helping in a needy hospital or community by matching them with community dispensaries/clinics and obtaining necessary volunteer or work permits.

Jahwar Amber Foundation coordinates doctors looking to spend sometime helping in a needy hospital or community by matching them with community dispensaries/clinics and obtaining necessary volunteer or work permits.
We also organize medical camps where we work with volunteering
doctors, their designated hospital or community of interest to organize medical
camps.
We are therefore looking for a Pharmaceutical Technologist to assist our team of medical volunteers in their community work, especially “Free Medical Camps” as organized by the foundation.

Job Purpose
Contribute to the patient happiness through delivery of efficient and effective pharmaceutical care services to the patients during the JAF medical camps and health follow-up programs.
Duty Station: Kajiado

Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Advise
physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosages,
interactions, and side effects of medications;
- Monitor
the health and progress of patients in response to drug therapy;
- Advise
patients and answer questions about prescription drugs, including
questions about possible side effects and interactions among different
drugs;
- Provide
information and make recommendations about over-the-counter drugs;
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma
in pharmacy from a recognized institution,
- Registered
with the pharmacy and poisons board will be an added advantage,
- At
least 2 years experience in a busy retail outlet,
- At
least one (1) year post registration experience in an NHIF accredited
health facility.
- Must
be computer literate especially pharmaceutical software.
