Information Systems Auditor
Ref: HRD/ISA/03/13
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, the successful
candidate will be responsible for the following amongst others:
- Providing
assurance on security, effectiveness, efficiency and use of information
systems at the Hospital.
- Evaluating
information systems processes to determine their efficiency, completeness
and accuracy.
- Analyzing
applications systems and their business protocols to determine whether
business objectives are being attained in a secure manner.
- Reviewing
hospital’s computer hardware and software to ensure that acquisition,
deployment and disposal are in accordance with the Hospital policies.
- Reviewing and providing
assurance on exchange/email client configuration and security.
- Reviewing
Hospital’s wireless security and internet information services (IIS) /
Domain Name Server (DNS).
- Reviewing
information systems application servers, backups, IT infrastructure and
networks to ensure compliance with Hospital policies.
- Monitoring and
reporting on utility of ICT facilities within the Hospital.
- Preparing audit
reports.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree in
Business / Computing or equivalent.
- Certified Information
Systems Auditor (CISA).
- Two years
systems audit experience.
- CPA (K) will be
an added advantage.
- Excellent
interpersonal relations.
- Knowledge of
Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs).
Biomedical Engineering Technologist
Ref: HRD/BET/03/13
Reporting to the Assistant Engineer - Biomedical, the successful
candidate will be responsible for the following among others:
- Carrying out
preventive maintenance and repairs of medical equipment.
- Carrying out
calibration and verification of the performance of key medical equipment
- Liaising with
departments to roll out the maintenance schedule.
- Maintaining job
cards for each job assigned.
- Participating in
training user departments on handling medical equipment.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma in
Medical Engineering.
- 3 years
experience in medical equipment maintenance.
- Good
organisational, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Computer
literate.
