Our Client, a well established Dry Cargo and logistics company,
with over 25 years experience, is urgently looking to hire a Project Manager
(Male Only)
The position is on a 2 year Contract.
The tender is for a freight forwarding contract in South Sudan in various
placesThe position is on a 2 year Contract.
Remuneration: USD 2,000- USD 2,500 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following
- Build and
maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Negotiate supply
contracts/rack deals with refiners and suppliers
- Continually
watch market to predict trends, directions and changes that impact our business
- Stay current on
state and federal laws concerning fuel taxes.
- Stay current on
changing legislative issues and lead the company's strategic
direction
- Give ALL
customers prompt and courteous service
- Other duties may
be assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s
degree in a relevant engineering or related discipline from a recognized
university.
- Must have a
VALID DANGEROUS GOODS CERTIFICATION, and must have had it for at least 3
years.
- Must have a
minimum of 8 – 10 years experience in Logistics
- Experience in
transport, Logistics and shipping companies.
- Skilled in
contract negotiation and management
- Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in
cost/benefit and risk analysis
- Ability to
prepare and deliver business presentations to individuals and groups
- Ability to
translate and communicate organizational objectives to departmental goals
and action plans
