Job Title: Workshop Manager - Carpentry
Qualification:
Diploma in Woodwork
2 years experience working in workshop environment
4 years experience working as a carpenter
Must have at least two years management experience
Must be assertive
Competencies and Skills
- The workshop
manager role requires an enthusiastic, self motivated and flexible person
who can work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent
organisational skills, time management, problem solving skills, and communication
skills along with an ability to work both collaboratively and
independently are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of
all workshop activities
- Responsible for
and accountable for ordering in association with the logistics department
of all materials and tools required to support the workload
- Responsible for
the proper, efficient and economical running of the carpentry and welding
workshops and for the supervision of all staff utilising the equipment
within.
