A leading FMCG company seeks to fill the positions in our Nairobi Factory;


Technical Operators (Based in Nairobi) 

Job Objective/Summary

Improve and maintain all productions processes and equipments to the company’s standards.

Description Of Duties
  • Carrying out daily/weekly/monthly care and maintenance of the machines
  • Machine preparation as per laid specifications prior to production
  • Quickly detect any defects/malfunction on m/c and report accordingly
  • Handling machine breakdowns during production
  • Ensuring other related processing lines are operating on required parameters
  • Participate in general maintenance and make productive utilization of available machineries and electric equipment
  • Taking care and accounting for various tools at my disposal making optimum use of various inputs and materials
  • Maintain up to date daily production record
  • To change the R.O filters on time
  • Checking of the working pressure
  • Changing of moulds for bottles blower
  • Changing of gaskets for the machines
  • Operation of the of machines e.g. reverse osmosis/TBA/boiler
  • To carry out any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Management from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/ Degree in mechanical Engineering (Plant option) or electrical engineering
  • Experience in a Beverage processing plant
  • Well organised
  • Honesty and demonstrate a high degree of integrity
  • Analytical problem solving
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Team player
Logistics Supervisor (Nairobi)

Job Objective / Summary

Responsible for the smooth running of Logistics operations

Description of Duties
  • Implement safety and health procedures
  • Manage training issues for staff
  • Assist in coordinating and controlling the order cycle including any associated information systems
  • In conjunction with the Logistics Manager, responsible for the efficient and effective development of logistics planning based on customers specifications
  • Provide timely logistics reports to the Logistics Manager as necessary
  • Assist to create policies or procedures for logistics activities
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems or customer issues
  • Ensure compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery
  • Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services
  • Supervise the work of logistics staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management
  • Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing
  • Conduct or review environmental audits for logistics activities, such as storage, distribution, or transportation
  • Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes
  • To carry out any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Management from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in stores management/ Logistics
  • Computer skills
  • 2-4 years progressive working experience in a busy organisation
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent co-ordinating and planning skills
