Job Title: Sales Executive

Purpose of job and primary objectives    


Working as part of the Business Development team and within our client’s operations team, this role is responsible for sourcing and managing relationships with new and existing clients within the retail cleaning industry and key decision makers within the region to develop business opportunities, achieve predetermined sales targets and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
 
Main Duties and responsibilities   
  • Generating leads and setting appointments through market investigation, networking, new media and cold calling.
  • Developing and managing business relationships that generate new contracted income and achieving agreed sales targets is a must
  • Presenting the organization and the services it provides to potential customers directly and at industry events.
  • Creating and managing a pipeline required to meet sales targets and ensuring all sales paperwork is current.
  • Working with the Operations Team and Bid Managers to respond to tender re-quests in a timely manner.
  • Closing sales opportunities.
  • Regularly communicating with the Business Unit Heads, Managing Director, and all other business development personnel to ensure that they remain fully informed of all significant issues.
Knowledge, Experience and skills required 
  • Extensive knowledge within the cleaning and hospitality industry is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge in completing tender process is essential, along with good written and oral skills.
  • A long proven track record, and identifiable brand achievements is paramount to this position; with active business development activity in the last 3-5 years in the cleaning industry.
  • A tenacious, driven individual with a proven record of successful services selling.
  • Extremely driven and focused on achieving set out targets.
  • Computer Literate Word, Excel, Outlook etc
  • Excellent communication, consultative, organization, prospecting and follow-up skills.
  • Daily activity reporting and weekly meetings.
Education
  • Diploma or bachelors degree in sales and marketing preferred but not required
Front Office Receptionist

The candidate must be well presentable able to deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our clients, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers.

Performs clerical duties and coordinates closely with the LCS team and Managing Director.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Front Office Duties:
  • Receive and direct phone calls, answering client’s inquiries about the company, directing clients to appropriate contacts, sorting mail, and arranging appointments for clients to meet with company staff.
  • Must deliver excellent customer service, at all times
  • Must be presentable, well versed with the company's profile. Follow proper etiquette while in conversation with clients and staff.
  • Must be calm, friendly and at the same time confident.
  • Has to maintain a professional attitude while conversing needs to be well-versed with verbal and written communication styles, and most important, needs to maintain decorum, and a professional atmosphere in and around the reception area.
  • Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail.
Administration:
  • Assist in creating and maintaining spreadsheets, creating word documents, merging documents for mailing, entering formulas into spreadsheets, and entering data in to a client’s database.
  • The receptionist is expected to keep a check on the office supplies; monitor the inflow and outflow regularly, and maintain records.
  • Make appointment/reservations and cancellations and follow-ups done in time.
  • Must be very good at time management with problem solving skills
Qualifications:
  • High school completion with high score in English is required.
  • Certificate or a diploma from a reputable institution
  • Front office training and experience
  • Excellent computer skills (MS-Office)
  • Good command of English and Kiswahili is vital
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in Front office management
  • Working experience in the hospitality industry, is highly desirable
  • Motivated, committed, as well as able to communicate and fit into a working team
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili is an added advantage
