Clinical Officers
MSF Switzerland (MSFCH) is a humanitarian medical organization
providing emergencymedical aid to populations in need.

Location: Nuba mountain / Northern
Abiyei
Start date: Immediate
Type of contract: 6 and 3 months respectively
Clinical Officer – Nuba Mountains
Main Tasks:
- Provide
consultation for the population and treat the most common disease
- Interdisciplinary
ward rounds
- Provide
surgical care if needed
- Ensure
emergency response
- Training
and supervision of the national team in the hospital and in the OPDs
- Ensure
running of the medical activities together with the MD
- Work
in close cooperation with international and national team
Clinical Officer – Northern Abiyei
Main Tasks:
- Provide
consultation for the population and treat the most common disease
- Ensure
running of the medical activities
- Ensure
medical supply via ordering system and inventory
- Work
in close cooperation with international and national team
Requirements:
- Diploma
in Clinical Medicine from a recognised Institution and registered with the
Medical Board
- Minimum
2 years experience with MSF or other INGOs
- Field
experience in harsh environment is an added advantage
Personal qualities:
- Organized,
methodical and accurate
- Ability
to work on strict deadlines and under pressure.
- Good
team player
- Motivated
with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new working methods.
