serve in Dadaab, Garissa County & Kakuma in Turkana County.
1. Finance Admin Officers – FAO
2 Posts
The Finance Admin Officer is responsible for provision of the
support services and the full spectrum of financial and management accounting,
including regulatory reporting, planning, developing and evaluating financial
and administrative policies, procedures, practices and systems to WTK projects
in Kenya
The FAO will ensure clear internal audit trails, external audit
support, be involved in budgeting, development of account systems and
procedures.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of
Commerce (accounting/Finance option)/ Bachelor ofbusiness administration
from a recognized University
- A holder of CPA
(K)/final or ACCA (final)
- Must be a member
of a professional body (ICPAK/ACCA) and of good standing
- Knowledge of an
accounting software preferably QuickBooks
- Possesses 5
years progressive financial/accounting experience
- Must be computer
literate
- Has a management
skills
2. Accounts Officer - AO
2 Posts
The accounts officer will be responsible for monthly
consolidation of accounts and preparation of quarterly financial
statement.
The AO will prepare monthly floats, update financial records and
general ledger, prepare payment vouchers and assist in preparation of financial
reports.
Safe custody of all financial data and maintenance of fixed
assets register
Qualifications
- Must be a holder
of CPA (K)/ final or ACCA (final). A Bachelor of Commerce
(accounting/Finance option) will be an added advantage
- Must be a member
of a professional body (ICPAK/ACCA) and of good standing
- Knowledge of an
accounting software preferably QuickBooks
- Possesses 3
years financial/accounting experience
- Must be computer
literate
3. Logistics Officer - LO
1 Post
The Logistics Officer is Overall in-charge for overseeing all
aspects of logistics functions: planning, directing, warehousing,
distribution, forecasting and reporting of relevant operations.
Logistics Officer will facilitate receipts, sorting out, logging
and transportation of materials to user destinations.
The LO will manage logistics personnel, procurement and storekeepers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in supply chain management, logistics or related field with
additional professional training in procurement and logistics management
- A minimum of 5
years experience in a similar role
- Mastery of
office software (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point) required.
- Good
interpersonal and public relationship
4. Procurement Officer

The procurement officer expected to add value to WTK
operationsthrough the procurement department and will be responsible for
Planning and coordination of procurement services; implementing and enforcing
procurement policies and regulations and taking control of procurement
processes.
Qualifications
- Degree in
purchasing and supplies management
- Knowledge of
public procurement and disposal Act and regulations
- Member of CIPS
or KISM
- Familiarity with
supply chain processes and procedures
- At least 3 years
practical experience in procurement management

5. Storekeeper

The storekeeper is responsible of receiving, storing, issuing
supplies, updating stores records and ensuring accountability of the stores
systems.
Qualification
- Diploma in
storekeeping

practical experience in stores management

6. Light Vehicle Driver

Responsibilities
- Transporting
authorized WTK resources as required
- Monitoring,
detecting and reporting defects in the vehicle to the supervisors
- Ensuring safety
and security of the vehicle and passengers
- Ensuring
validity of the vehicle insurance and renewal of own driving licence
- Effectively
carrying minor repairs
Qualifications
- Secondary
Education certificate
- Valid driving
license, PSV and at least 5 year driving experience.
- Basic motor

WTK’s education programmes in schools in Turkana West, Kakuma, Lagdera &
Fafi and Dadaab.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for,
coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of education
activities in collaboration with education staff and partners.
- Provision of
adequate and timely technical guidance, supervision, capacity building and
management support
- Promote quality
girl-child education programmes.
- Promote
community self-management in relation to the running of secondary schools.
- Provide
essential physical facilities and instructional materials to schools
Qualifications
- A degree in
Education with at least 4 years of proven experience in effective and
efficient management of Kenya education with high quality outputs.
- Excellent
planning, analytical, conceptual and organizational skills.
- Ability to
motivate staff and students to perform maximally and a goodteam-player.
- Proven knowledge
of Kenya Education systems and rich networks with Key MOE officials.
- Superior writing

performance of girls and boys in targeted schools in Turkana West, Kakuma,
Lagdera & Fafi and Dadaab

The responsibilities of the education counsellors are to:
- Train teachers,
parents and staff to enhance their effectiveness inproviding psycho-social
support to girls in their schools.
- Facilitate
establishment of school counselling programme and resources to help girls
develop skills in the areas of personal/social growth, educational
planning, and career development
- Provide a
comprehensive individual and group counselling services to meet the
developmental, preventive, and remedial needs of girls in target primary
and secondary schools.
Qualifications
- A psychology/
Guidance and Counselling or social science degree from a recognized
University
- Maturity of
attitude, relevant experience and personality
- Membership to
the Professional counsellor
- At least two
years experience in the field of counselling, training, group
facilitation, supervision and/or community based psychosocial programming
- Demonstrated
passion and a commitment to changing lives of others especially the girls
for the better and inspires others in that passion and commitment.
- Special
interest, understanding, sensitivity and proven skills of working with
girls and communities in Asal regions
- Demonstrated
ability to travel to and work in remote areas with rural populations.

12. Secondary School ICT Teachers

The secondary school teachers will be responsible effective
implementation of prescribed ICT secondary education
curriculum.
This project is under Support to Education for Refugees in
Dadaab (SERD) funded by European Union.
Qualifications
- A degree in Education
with ICT option.
- 3 years
experience teaching secondary school.

performance as a secondary school teacher with outstanding results
- Demonstrated
capabilities and strategies to propel secondary schools to top national
