vegetables, 26 million kilos of black tea and 3 million kilos of tea

The
organization is geographically located in Nairobi, Naivasha, Kericho, Mt. Kenya
and Mombasa and works with 1,200 vegetable out growers and 10,000 tea out
growers.
The Job
We
intend to recruit a Tractor/Implements Mechanic to join our Workshop in Ibis
farm - Mt. Kenya Region (Near Nanyuki, -Laikipia).
Key Responsibilities
- Testing the equipments
and making necessary adjustments
- Overhauling
engine, transmission and hydraulic systems
- Conduct routine
operational and preventive maintenance checks
- To rectify all
mechanical faults as per job card and service check sheet
- Diagnose
implements faults
- Carry out
pre-Fitness checks
- Ensure hazardous
waste is disposed of appropriately
Desired Competences/Qualifications
- Trade test Grade
1
- Good
communication skills
- Three years
experience in a busy workshop handling plant machinery
- Able to work
with minimum supervision.
