Point of Buying Supervisor

Key Accountabilities- Tap into
current potential and exploit available point of buying materials
opportunities across all Trade Channels in Kenya.
- Track
in-store activities and executions in line with business objectives.
- Ensure
merchandising standards are adhered to at all times and train
team/partners on basic checks of POB materials.
- Develop and
grow relationships with all stakeholders to deliver timely and efficient
POB executions
- To ensure
all fridges/Coolers and other point of buying materials are in good
working conditions by installing, diagnosing, repairing and servicing them
by working with maintenance department and other service providers.
- Implementing
changes, expansions and additions to cooler units systems by identifying
problems, keeping abreast of new developments, using statistics and
equipment history reports.
- Ensuring the
coolers and Point of buying materials agreements are up to date.
- Prepare
monthly point of buying and on-shelf space reports closely with the
commercial team.
- As an
individual contributor know the ethical and legal compliance
responsibilities of the position; raise questions and concerns when faced
with an ethical or compliance issue; apply integrity in all aspects of
professional conduct.

- Business
Degree in in Commerce, Economics, Business Management, and Social Sciences
or equivalent from a recognized University
- At least 3
years working experience in Sales in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry
- Experience
in installation
and Refrigeration repair preferred
- Experience
in Basic Selling Skills
- Must be
willing to embrace travelling within and outside Kenya for periodic work
programmes away from home
