The organization is geographically located in Nairobi, Naivasha, Kericho, Mt. Kenya and Mombasa and works with 1,200 vegetable out growers and 10,000 tea out growers.
 
The Job
 
We intend to recruit a Panel Beater to join our Workshop in Ibis farm - Mt. Kenya Region (Near Nanyuki, - Laikipia).
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Determining vehicle damage and recommended repair procedure
  • Doing any welding work required and removing damaged panels and fixing dents.
  • Using mechanical and hydraulic equipment to straighten and realign chassis and body frames and using welding equipment to cut and join replacement sections or damaged panels.
  • Rustproof vehicle, remove rough spots on vehicle panels, carrying out masking procedures.
  • Colour matching and mixing paints, applying primer and finishing coats and polishing and waxing the finished paintwork.
Desired Competences/Qualifications
  • Government Trade Test 1
  • Good communication skills.
  • Three years experience in the same capacity in a busy Workshop will be an added advantage.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
