Our
client, a leading security company with its Headquarters in Nairobi is looking
for Security Officers to be deployed all over Nairobi.
The
successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling, answering alarm calls,
monitoring and authorizing entrance of individuals among others.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol
industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of
intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Answer alarms
and investigate disturbances.
- Monitor and
authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons
to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of
daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage,
theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Operate
detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited
articles into restricted areas.
- Inspect and
adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational
use and to detect evidence of tampering.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum KCSE
qualifications
- Good
communication and presentation skills.
- Self-driven
individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- High level of
integrity and Customer service
