Quantity Surveyor
A
well-established interior Design and construction company with projects in
various parts of the country seeks to recruit a qualified Quantity Surveyor
based in Nairobi with frequent travel to project sites.
- Estimating and
costing functions
- Pricing of bills
of quantities
- Pre-tender and
procurement process evaluations
- Assist in
contract preparation documents
- Payments claims
and project final accounts paperwork for all services and products offered
by the company
- Manage programs
of work as set out by the Project Management Team.
- Any other
Project Management duties assigned by the management.
Qualifications
- Technical/advanced
or College degree in Quantity surveying
- Three years
minimum on the job experience in interior construction work and a thorough
knowledge of modern interior finishes
- Exceptional
skills in use of excel spreadsheets
- Demonstrated
ability to complete tasks and projects in line with established guidelines
- A self-motivated
individual able to work with minimal or no supervision
