The main task will be to provide programmatic support to the Programmes team and will be reporting to the Senior Programme Officer.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Participate
in the development of advocacy campaigns; implementation and monitoring of
outcomes.
- Assist in
implementation of all phases of advocacy events from conception to
follow-up and conclusion.
- Assist in
background research and support functions including (but not limited) to
collecting information and database management.
- Assist and
support in dissemination of AfriCOG reports and communications.
- Assist and
support the management team in planning and coordination of resource
mobilisation activities including supporting the preparation and
submission of project proposals to existent and potential donors.
- Perform
other tasks as may be directed from time to time.
Requirements:
- University
degree in social sciences, law, applied research and any other relevant
degree
- Impeccable
writing skills
- Committed to
AfriCOG mission of eradicating impunity
- Passionate
on Governance and anti-corruption issues and ensuring civic vigilance
- A quick
learner and highly motivated
- Ability to
undertake tasks with attention to detail
The Intern will be expected to adhere to AfriCOG’s Working hours
from 8.30 – 17.00 hours. It may be necessary to work outside these hours
from time to time.
