A vacancy of field officer has
recently arisen.
The preferred candidate will have day to day responsibility of ensuring the
producers meet all the requirements for the organic trade-fair certification as
required for international markets.
This job requires a very high level of commitment,
responsibility and professionalism – and a strong interest in supporting rural
development.

- Producers

Qualifications: Degree in agriculture
or a related discipline.
Experience
Experience
- Must
have worked within agricultural quality management and/or certification
systems;
- Must
have a minimum of two years experience in a technical or customer care
role in agriculture or related discipline;
- Must
have knowledge of the principals and practices of organic farming systems;
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills,
- Computer
literate
- Should
have knowledge of the principles and practices of fair trade.
