Program Officer – HIV
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is a global
leader in the fight against pediatric HIV and AIDS.
EGPAF in Kenya is currently looking to recruit for the position of Program Officer – HIV based in Lodwar for the Nakinae Akiyar Project.
The Role
The Program Officer will provide technical expertise in implementing interventions to sensitize and engage community, create community-facility linkages and implement psychosocial support activities to adults and children.
She/he will support adherence to the continuum of care and
retention at all project supported sites while providing technical assistance
and capacity building.
The Person
To be successful in this role:-
- You
will require HIV/AIDS knowledge and related experience with background in
community development activities.
- You
will possess a degree in Public Health, Community health, Community
Development, Development studies, counseling or a relevant social studies
degree. An advanced degree will be an added advantage.
- You
will be Computer literate (Computer skills-MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power
point), in addition to demonstrated teaching and counselling skills and
willingness to travel.
