We are seeking suitable
candidate to fill the position of: Principal Supply Chain Officer
Job Description:To efficiently carry out management and administration of the Library Services/Learning and Resource Center with the aim of ensuring full and efficient provision and utilization of these services and facilities to the Institute customers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review,
design and manage procurement function to support the School mandate
- Align the
procurement function to support the Schools’ operations
- Design and
implement best practice supply chain management processes
- Ensure
compliance with the public procurement rules and regulations
- Manage
supply relationships for the mutual benefit of the school and suppliers
- Develop and
implement effective stores management
- Managing the
tendering process in accordance with the law
- Any other
job assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be a
holder of bachelor’s degree in business administration, management and
commerce
- Holder of
MBA, MSC (Proc.) is added advantage
- Must be a
member of KISM
- Five years
procurement experiences in a large organization
- Must be
computer literate
- Process
strong leadership and negotiation skills
