SAP MM / SRM Team Leader
Reporting to the project Manager, the SAP MM/SRM Team Lead
Consultant will be responsible for overall implementation of SAP MM and SAP SRM
including BBP elaboration, master data consolidation, configuration and
testing, trainer and end user training, technical documentation and
post-implementation support.
- Prepare and
follow up the project and team plans in the SAP MM and SAP SRM area.
- Elaboration of
project deliverables for SAP MM and SAP SRM
- Direct,
motivate, monitor and mentor the SAP MM and SRM team’s work
- Plan, execute,
monitor and control knowledge transfer to the client in your area
- Take
responsibility for the progress of both SRM and MM team’s work and use of
team resources and initiate corrective action where necessary within the
constraints laid down by the Project Manager
- Advise the
Project Manager of any deviations from plan, recommend corrective action
and help prepare any appropriate Exception Plans
- Communication of
deliverables that have been completed and approved in line with the agreed
requirements
- Ensure all
Project Issues are properly reported to the person maintaining the Issue
Log
- Ensure the
evaluation of Project Issues that arise within the team’s work and
recommend action to the Project Manager
- Liaise with any
Quality Assurance roles
- Attend any phase
reviews and meetings as directed by the Project Manager.
- Arrange and lead
team checkpoint meetings and produce Checkpoint Reports as agreed with the
Project Manager
- Ensure that quality
controls of the team’s work are planned and performed correctly
- Identify and
advise the Team Leader of any risks associated with
Deliverables
- Ensure that all
identified risks are entered on the Risk Log
- Manage specific
risks as directed by the Team leader
- To review in
conjunction with our clients, and understand the business processes to be
supported by SAP MM and SAP SRM
- To participate
in any required interfaces tests, as per project test plan.
- Coordinate and
facilitate Cutover and Go-Live processes as well as Sign offs.
- Facilitate
Rollouts.
Knowledge/Experience Required
- Bachelor Degree
and Certification in Procurement
- Extensive SAP
implementation experience within the MM/SRM modules.
- Minimum five (5)
years experience in Procurement and Logistics/Supply Chain; three (3) of
which must be in implementation of procurement and logistics
systems/Supply Chain.
- Minimum of three
(3) full project life cycle.
- Strong client
facing Consultancy experience.
