Position: Service Contract Executive
Reports To: DMS Manager
Nature and Scope of the Position
The position reports to the
Head of DMS division who reports to the managing Director.
Working within the sales
team you will be responsible for building and developing a successful sales
pipeline.
This is a new business role
and you will be expected to generate leads by participating in a number of
sales activities: The Ideal candidate should have experience and proficiency in
IT System workflow, system analysis and design skills.
Duties
Duties
- Provide
high-level direct client contact with corporate clients.
- Cultivate
relationships at the highest levels of top target market companies
- Provide
executive level representation at high-stakes meetings with prospects,
clients, and technology/channel partners.
- Provide
accurate and timely Forecast’s and Funnel using the appropriate Sales
Tools and Processes and maintain all relevant information about Customers,
Prospects, Campaigns, and Leads.
- Drive
revenue through long-term, high-dollar contacts.
- Develop new
markets as needed by clients.
- Consult with
clients on their IT and DMS needs and creative design solution to meet
client needs
- Provide
feedback to the rest of the organization on how to better satisfy client
needs.
- Collect debt
in allocated accounts.
- Perform
other job-related duties and responsibilities as requested.
- Provide
excellent customer experience to existing and new clients
- And any
other duties assigned
Qualifications
Academic
Essential: Degree or HD
Desired: Degree in IT

Experience
- Minimum of
1-2 year in sales position
Work related skills
- Experience
in telemarketing
- Experience
in consultative approach to selling
- Experience
and success in cold calling
- “Hunter”
rather than “farmer” – this is very much a new business development role
- Experience
in IT Sales in a Service environment.
Personal attributes
- Positive
attitude and willingness to go beyond the normal call of duty
- Quick
Learner especially in products spec and benefits
- Ability to
build rapport – “warm” to a person and get a person “warm” to them. This
is an emotive “trust based” sale
- Highly
professional and presentable. Again, the impression and relationship a
person can build with the client is key critical
- Numerate – there
is a fair amount of discussion of financial IT issues with clients
- Excellent
communication skills – both written and oral
- Desire to
“push the boat out” and contribute strongly to building a great company.
The ideal candidate will have both a) hunger and drive and b) the ability
to fit into and work successfully with an entrepreneurial and “can do”
team
