Limited wishes to fill existing vacancy for the position ofSenior Financial Accountant.
The
Job
Reporting to the Head
of Financial Accounting, the person will be responsible for: -
- Processing all
manual journals and facilitate month-end financial close and year end
procedures.
- Maintain General
ledger chart of account and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare Company
Monthly & Annual Financial Statements and supporting schedules in
accordance with IFRS, GAAP and internal policies.
- Managing TREO,
Insurance Capital assets ,VAT and Invoicing functions.
- Review Material
usage, Labour and Equipment costing.
- Account
reconciliation with strict adherence to compliancy with financial
reporting and procedures (Sarbanes – Oxley-section 404).
The
Person
The ideal candidate
should meet the following requirements: -
Essential
- Aged 30 - 35
years.
- Must have a
Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- A qualified
Accountant with CPA (K) or ACCA.
- 5 years relevant
experience preferably in a Manufacturing and Agriculture environment.
- The ability to
work meticulously and accurately under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent
written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to
operate with minimum supervision.
- A flexible
approach and an ability to work within a team.
- Working
knowledge in Microsoft suite and experience in Financial ERP system.
