We are a fast growing and experienced construction company based in Nairobi, and looking for a suitably qualified Quantity Surveyor to undertake the following roles:
We are a fast growing and experienced construction company based in Nairobi, and looking for a suitably qualified Quantity Surveyor to undertake the following roles:
- Tendering and
project estimating
- Contract
administration and claims management
- Remeasurement of
works as executed
- Preparation of
valuations, final accounts and following up on payments
- Preparation of
schedules of materials, labour and services as and when required
- Attendance of
site meetings as and when required
- Collection of
statistical database and subsequent evaluation
Requirements:
- Relevant degree
in Building Economics
- Strong practical
experience (minimum 3 years) in East African region
- Knowledge of
quantity surveying softwares e.g. WinQS etc. will be an added advantage
- Proactive and
ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of
discretion, honesty and unquestionable integrity
- Flexibility and
adaptability to different work environments
