Procurement Officer
Job purpose: Reporting to Finance Director, this role will
develop and implement sourcing and supplier management strategies to enable the
organization meet its objectives.
Main Responsibilities

- Advice on
appropriate procurement strategies and implement approved plans.
- Conduct
market research to identify pricing, availability and benchmarks.
- Maintain
supplier contacts.
- Closely
monitor and manage supplier cost, service and quality performance.
- Develop the
profile for procurement across all areas of the company.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in relevant field.
- Diploma in
Purchasing and supplies will be an added advantage.
- Up to 6
years’ procurement experience in a busy firm.
- Member of
recognized professional body for procurement specialists.
- Team player
- Innovative
individual.
