We are currently seeking a Crops Officer for the Farm Africa/AMREF Kenya Integrated Water for Food Security Project.
You will be responsible for the conservation of agricultural activities for this project.
We are currently seeking a Crops Officer for the Farm Africa/AMREF Kenya Integrated Water for Food Security Project.
You will be responsible for the conservation of agricultural activities for this project.
As part of your active role
as a member of the ‘Integrated Water for Food Security Project’ team you will:
- Liaise with
other project staff, developing effective and coherent plans for the
agricultural components
- Ensure
effective and successful planning, budgeting, management and implementation
of agricultural development work within the project
- You will
work to build the capacity of the local communities, enabling them to
manage their agricultural resources and livelihoods sustainably
Qualifications and Experience
Essential

Relevant diploma level qualification e.g. agriculture

Knowledge of the development and policy environment in Kenya

Substantial relevant work experience
Desirable
-
Bachelors degree in relevant subject

Valid motorcycle license and off-road motorcycle driving experience

Previous NGO work experience in rural development
