10 000 Women Program Administrator

Position Purpose:
 
The incumbent is expected to manage and effectively administer Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Certificate Program for Women Entrepreneurs at USIU Centre for Executive and Entrepreneurial Development (CEED) to meet the Program goals. 

The Program is sponsored by the Goldman Sachs Foundation.

The 10000 Women Program Administrator will work under the supervision of the Director (CEED) in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the 10000 Women Certificate Program for Women Entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Program Activities.
  • Plan and execute recruitment of Program scholars.
  • Organize for selection of Program scholars and mentoring.
  • Preparing Program annual work plans.
  • Coordinate the training process, graduation and networking activities.
  • Prepare a comprehensive annual Program report.
  • To prepare the Grant Renewal Proposal.
Qualifications / Experience
  • First and second degrees (preferably an MBA) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a busy office preferably in a donor -funded project.
  • Be computer literate presentation, spreadsheet, word processing and desktop publishing software.
  • Possess and demonstrate practical experience in project management.

  • Be self-driven, have a positive outlook and have a pleasant personality.
  • Work well under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Able and willing to work long hours, including weekends as well as at out-of-duty stations.
  • Have good negotiation, research and analytical skills.
  • Possess and demonstrate excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with stakeholders.
