USAID Kenya electoral assistance program, implemented by IFES
(International Foundation for Electoral Systems Inc.), seeks individual
consultants to undertake consultancy assignments in support of the programs’
objectives.
Individual consultants with Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply for the pre-qualification.
- Electoral
Management and Operations
- Strategic
Planning; Management consultancy and institutional development
- Legislative
Drafting
- Legal
advisory; Governance
- ICT
including software development; systems analysis etc
- Research
and Policy development
- Political
Parties
- Voter/Civic
Education; Media; and Communication
- Security;
Conflict and Dispute resolution
- Training
and material development
Essential Experience, Technical Skills And Competencies
Consultants must have:

- A
minimum proven 5 years of experience in one or more of the categories
listed above.
- Kenyan
nationality.
- Post
graduate qualification in a relevant field.
- Excellent
verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience
in relevant Kenyan Assignments.
