It is in the pursuit of furthering this mission and retaining market leadership in provision of the full realm of Real Estate Development and Investment products and services that the following vacancies have arisen and Housing Finance is seeking high caliber individuals for these positions:
Business Operations Director
Position overview:
A senior and critical role responsible for the sale and delivery of all HF’s products and services to its customers in the most efficient and effective manner.
The role reports to the Managing Director.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic
Planning & Execution: Formulates and implements the Business
Operations Strategy so as to ensure the achievement of the bank’s revenue
targets in the most cost effective manner.
- Champion the
mortgage sales strategy in line with the overall business strategy to
ensure achievement of agreed targets.
- Deliver prompt,
reliable and seamless service to all HF customers in all regions where the
Bank is represented in line with the bank strategy whilst ensuring the
achievement of agreed product sales targets.
- Source customers
and manage customer relationships bank wide through a well trained team of
relationship managers so as to attract and retain more customers.
- Provide critical
support service to the Bank in the areas of ICT, customer service, service
delivery, back office operations and business continuity management in a
manner that leads to the effective and efficient delivery of the Bank’s
services to both external and internal customers.
- Working closely
with a team of property development specialists, source and/or prudently
employ funding for the development of property projects undertaken for and
on behalf of the Bank’s customers while managing relationships with all
property development stakeholders.
- Leadership &
People management: Lead a significantly large team to achieve results and
ensure alignment to corporate culture, brand and the development of
talent.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An undergraduate
degree in business or commerce with professional qualifications in banking
- A Masters in
Business Administration or relevant Masters Degree will be an added
advantage
- A minimum of 10
years all rounded banking experience, three of which must be at a senior
management or director level.
- A good
appreciation of retail banking, relationship management and operations
management is important.
Business Development Director
Position overview:
A strategic role involved in the development, implementation, cascade and continuous review of the overall strategy and championing of all marketing and business development related activities at Housing Finance.
This will be achieved by seeking out new business channels and
opportunities and injecting new ideas to grow the business.
The role reports to the Managing Director.
Key responsibilities:
- Working closely
with the Managing Director in strategy formulation and implementation, the
position is responsible for the review and cascade of strategy in the
business and ensuring communication and alignment of strategy at all
levels.
- To formulate and
manage the marketing, brand and PR strategy so as to ensure the Bank’s
continuous visibility and well managed internal and external
communications to mitigate any violation to its reputation.
- Manages the
business collaboration agenda and relationships with various stakeholders
to optimize strengths from the diverse business models
- Is actively
involved in determining the foot print and market reach so as to ensure
coverage of all markets within HF’s target markets.
- Seeks out
opportunities to continuously innovate HF’s products and processes so as
to optimize resources and respond to the ever changing customer needs.
- Oversee all
strategic projects taking place through a well-equipped project team so as
to ensure timely, cost effective and successful completion of all
strategic projects.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An undergraduate
degree in business or commerce with high level hands on experience in
strategy design, development and implementation
- A Masters in
Business Administration with a specialisation in strategy or marketing
will be an added advantage
- A minimum of 10
years in business development or strategy development in FMCG or financial
services sector, three of which must be at a senior management or director
level.
Generic skills & attributes:
- Strong
relationship management and customer service orientation is essential
- A proactive self
starter with strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire
others to positively influence and make an impact at senior levels of
management
- A good
appreciation of ICT and the banking regulatory environment
- Excellent
written and verbal skills with the ability to convince and sell one’s
ideas
- High levels of
confidence and presentation skills to compliment
- Demonstrable
financial aptitude with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Must be a person
of high integrity and embrace strong ethical practices
